His paws still need a wipe, obviously. But having a layer over his back makes our wet-weather routine feel more manageable.
I went by his chest and back measurements rather than the size he wears in another brand. I'm glad I didn't guess.
We don't need a whole expedition outfit for ten minutes outside. I wanted something light to grab for the necessary little walks.
It can look clear when we leave and start raining two streets later. This is the kind of thing I like to have ready.
Our dog was curious about the hood at first. We let him get used to the coat indoors before heading out in it.
That pretty much sums up dog ownership. If I need a layer for the weather, I check what he needs too.
I used to remember the weather only after opening the door. Having his coat in the entryway has improved my preparation considerably.
He gets to sniff the usual corners and I feel a little more prepared. A useful addition to our walking things.
