For the hallway he tiptoes through

We have smooth floors between the rug and the kitchen. I wanted to give him a little more grip for that part of the house.

THE RIGHT FIT, MADE SIMPLE
Measure the paw, not the breed. All sets contain four socks.
Have your dog stand on a piece of paper. Mark both sides of the widest part of the paw, then measure between the marks.
Check more than one paw and use the largest measurement. If between sizes, choose the larger size. Fasten comfortably and check the fit during use.
Measurements in inches. Tap a size to compare.
| Size | Paw width (in) | Sock length (in) |
|---|---|---|
| 1.8 | 4.4 | |
| 2.1 | 5.4 | |
| 2.6 | 6.3 | |
| 2.9 | 7 | |
| 3.5 | 7.8 |
Introduce socks gradually, check the fit during use, and remove them if they cause discomfort.

We have smooth floors between the rug and the kitchen. I wanted to give him a little more grip for that part of the house.
Our dog wasn't sure what to make of socks at first. A short try indoors and some patience worked better than expecting him to love them immediately.
I nearly chose a size by his breed. Measuring his paws was much more useful, especially since the fit matters so much with socks.
The kitchen is where he follows me most. I like having an option for the smooth floor there without putting another rug beside the counter.
The first few steps were very funny. Once he'd had a little time to adjust, they became a much less interesting part of his day.
The pattern caught my eye, but I paid more attention to the size guide before ordering. That was the right order of priorities.
Most of our home is comfortable for him already. It's the short stretches of smooth flooring where I wanted something extra.
I wanted socks for the house, not boots for a long outdoor walk. These make sense for the way we planned to use them.
We put them on when we're spending time downstairs and check the fit as we go. Simple enough to work into an ordinary day.
